The Center’s collaborative conservation efforts with the Kino Bay community were profiled by KJZZ, a member station of National Public Radio, this February.

Nina Kravinsky, reporter for KJZZ, had the unique experience of attending the Center’s International Wetlands Day Festival while also learning about the Center’s impact on the local community and their relationship with the environment – an inspiring story of what can be achieved through community-based conservation efforts.
