The Kino Bay Center photo database is a searchable and diverse collection of more than 30,000 photographs capturing the biodiversity, socioeconomic and cultural landscapes in the Kino Bay region. These photos range from the Sonoran desert at night, to shrimp trawling operations, to curious Orcas trailing our boats. A select 'best of' collection is now available online here. Along with being highly useful for station presentations, PR materials, publications, wildlife identification, and interpretive displays, these photographs constitute a valuable historical record for the region. The online photo gallery brings images of the region’s natural and cultural richness to the public and is a valuable tool for connecting community to science and conservation projects in the region.
